Session Fee $250 (see rebates below)
The standard therapy session is 50 minutes in duration.
Initial appointments are payable at the time of booking. Subsequent appointments are invoiced 48 hours before the appointment and are requested to be settled by the conclusion of the appointment.
The Medicare rebate (money returned to you) is $141.85 per session for Clinical Psychologist and $96.65 per session for Registered Psychologist.
A GP can assess if you are eligible for a Mental Health Care Plan, which allows access to up to 10 sessions in a calendar year. Plans initially allow you access to 6 sessions and after a review from your GP you may be eligible for a further 4 sessions.
Bulk billing is not available.
You do not need a referral to make an appointment, however, to receive a Medicare rebate, you will need to be referred by your GP or Psychiatrist under the Medicare Benefits Schedule. Medicare requires a letter of referral and a care plan.
As a private paying client, you may be eligible for a rebate if you have private health insurance. Private Health Insurance options are available to both Australian residents and overseas students.
The level of cover and applicable waiting periods vary between insurance companies and depend on your extras cover policy.
You can contact your private health insurance to find out more about your eligibility, level of cover for psychological support, how many appointments you can claim and the exact amount of your rebates.. Your private health insurance may ask for the item code that will show on your invoice.

NDIS session fee is $222.99
This is in accordance with the NDIS Schedule of Fees set by the NDIS.
All NDIS plans must be either plan-managed or self-managed for funds to be accessible. Invoices can be paid after your appointment or invoiced to your plan coordinator.
DVA and Work Cover - No out of pocket fee.

Note: The 2023-2024 Recommended Schedule of fees has set the standard 46 to 60 minute consultation fee at $300 by the Australian Psychological Society (APS). This is a recommendation only. The fee at which a service is set is at the discretion of the individual psychologist so it is important to discuss this with the psychologist.
Please provide a minimum of 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment. A late cancellation fee will be charged for less than 24 hours notice of cancellation or if you do not attend the appointment. This also allows clients on our waitlist an opportunity to organise a session. Medicare rebates cannot be accessed for missed appointments.
