 Psychologist

Janice is a warm, compassionate psychologist who brings over 35 years of experience supporting people through life’s most complex challenges. She has worked across clinical, organisational, and community settings, but her passion lies in helping individuals heal from trauma, reconnect with their strengths, and live more meaningful, balanced lives.

Janice works with adults experiencing a wide range of concerns including trauma, anxiety, workplace stress, self-esteem issues, adjustment to life transitions, and the psychological impacts of critical incidents. Her approach is deeply person-centred and grounded in evidence-based therapies, including EMDR, Schema Therapy, mindfulness-based approaches, and Cognitive Behaviour Therapy.

Janice has a long-standing interest in trauma recovery and has supported individuals returning to life and work following adverse life events. She also has a unique understanding of the mental health challenges faced by veterans, frontline staff, and leaders navigating complex demands, drawing on her extensive background in Defence and crisis response.

In addition to her clinical work, Janice is a qualified meditation and yoga teacher and brings a holistic lens to wellbeing—integrating the body, mind, and nervous system into the therapy space in a way that is respectful, safe, and empowering.

Janice is passionate about walking alongside clients as they build resilience, reconnect with what matters most, and create meaningful change in their lives.
